Salesforce" is a very popular and robust SaaS application that many enterprises use today for their CRM & other ERP needs. However every enterprise mostly has a plethora of other applications to manage their ERP - such as Oracle Ebiz, SAP , Microsoft , other internal self-built apps and probably other SaaS providers. One of the key challenges for the Enterprise Architects is to Integrate these systems to have consistent data across applications and seamless user experience.
While we have many generic Integration patterns ( request-reply/fire and forget etc.) , protocols ( REST / SOAP etc.) and methods to manually call API's by providing many details (session , login, connection information etc.), MuleSoft’s Salesforce Connector cuts all that crap. It has plenty of options that make Salesforce connection from other apps very easy , smooth and Robust. It also provides with accelerators/ templates that help kick start our integrations and customize them.
In this meetup we shall discuss all those ways and means for external apps to connect with Salesforce and Vice versa. More specifically our Agenda would be like below
