About this event

MuleSoft Virtual CONNECT 2020 had a great DataWeave breakout session.  Other MuleSoft Meetup groups - including this one - have focused on 'advanced' DataWeave topics.  But do you really understand DataWeave?  What makes it different from other programming languages?  How it executes?

Answering those questions and more will be the focus of this Denver (virtual) MuleSoft Meetup.  Joshua Erney returns to deliver an introduction to DataWeave we all wish we had before writing our first DataWeave script.  He will cover what makes DataWeave different than other programming languages:

  * its execution mode

  * its interplay between MIME and data types

  * general rules for transforming to and from the three (3) core MIME types:  JSON, XML, and CSV

He will have numerous examples and demos to reinforce the concepts he will present.

So come join us, virtually, for this important topic.  After this presentation, you will understand the core fundamental concepts of DataWeave.  Then you'll be ready to understand more advanced DataWeave concepts!

As always, there will be trivia questions with giveaways!

***PLEASE NOTE: In order to join this event, you must "Login" to the meetups.mulesoft.com website. You will then be able to join. You canNOT join directly from the URL provided in the Meetup email.***
