Mulesoft applies the concept of transactions to operations in application for which the result cannot remain indeterminate. In other words, where a series of steps in flow must succeed or fail as one unit, Mulesoft uses a transaction to demarcate such a unit.

Suppose you have a requirement of performing a group of activities and execute all at once,If it fails at any point, your transaction should rollback. So in this scenario, you can use transactions in mule.
