Since the engineering graduation days, I was curious about computers. But in those days you can see computers either in college Labs or community centers. I quickly learned PASCAL and FORTRAN languages (now obsolete nowadays). I still remember, how much I was excited to even draw a circle, ellipses using those languages.
The passion still carried on through my IT career, learned different techniques as well as soft skills by self-learning, training, guidance from mentors.
I have been lucky enough on getting opportunities to work on large complex engagements (multiple teams, multiple geographical locations) and most of them starting from very inception phases till it goes to support/maintenance. So I can tell you this- "The more challenging project you are engaged on, there is great learning you would acquire inherently, which helps in both personal & professional life".
