Indiana Office of Technology (IOT) has selected MuleSoft as their integration platform of choice. As they progress through their journey, IOT has enabled and educated many of the state’s agencies to learn and use MuleSoft for integration projects within different scopes such as inter-agency, intra-agency and external entities outside the state. One of these agencies that saw a need to centrally access information is their Department of Veteran Affairs (IDVA). Dennis Wimer, IDVA Director, saw a business need to provide real-time Veteran information across many agencies such as Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Dept of Health, Dept of Workforce Development, and others to have a central access point to confirm and validate Veterans who reside in the state of Indiana. Dennis has shared his goals on how and why these services are important and has shared his approach with other states and at the national VA. Both Dennis and Gerry Bailey, MuleSoft Consultant, will provide an overview of the use cases for IDVA and how IOT is using MuleSoft across agencies to provide this single view of an Indiana Veteran.
