At our last meetup, we looked at MCP Bridge and how Mule APIs can start working with AI agents. It was a good start, but it also raised the obvious next question: once agents begin calling your APIs on their own, how do you keep any control over what's actually happening?
That's the focus this time.
We'll take a simple GET API running on CloudHub, expose it as an MCP endpoint, and connect an agent to it — then watch the agent discover the API and call it live. Once that's working, we bring in Anypoint Omni Gateway to add the governance layer: rate limits, identity, and visibility into the token spend behind each call.
Most of the session is hands-on demo rather than slides. We'll also get into the messy parts — what tends to break in production, where the setup trips people up, and the fallbacks worth keeping in your back pocket.
Missed the MCP Bridge session? You'll still be able to follow along; we'll recap enough to get you up to speed.
Bring your questions and your own API ideas. See you there.
