I have completed the MCD - API Design Associate (RAML 1.0) and MCD - Integration and API Associate (Mule 3.9) accreditations having been on several of the Mulesoft training courses, attended Mulesoft Summits and working with Mulesoft software and applications for two years.

Technologies and Tools that I would recommend for Mulesoft include;
Understanding JSON and JSON schema validation
Regular Expressions for String Validation
Using the Eclipse Development Environment and some understanding of the Java Stack
An understanding of Maven and GIT for version control, building of projects and handling code dependencies
Writing of Service contracts using RAML and or familiarity with other standards such as OpenAPI (OAS and Swagger)
Using tools such as GitHub, Postman or Advanced REST Client, Notepad++ with plugins for XML and JSON handling, Anypoint Studio for development
Understanding of OS level tools such as ftp, sftp, netcat, telnet, SSH. samba and JMS queues for handling endpoint reading and writing
